best trigger for mk4
I have only ran 500 rounds through this since installing it but I can say with the TK victory trigger shoe this is the most precise and light trigger you can get. They don’t exactly tell you but this does disable the mag disconnect feature on the factory set up. Which I like for my own reasons. All I can say is but this and get the victory shoe from tandemkross
A necessity for the Ruger Mark IV
I can't believe what an improvement this is to the stock trigger. The Mark IV's trigger isn't bad, but it's not that good either. It took it from a long takeup with a squishy break to a short crisp 2lb break with a really short reset. Night and day difference. This accurizing kit with Volquartsens' 1911 style flat faced trigger is the winning combo imo. I gotta say though if your not confident in your gunsmithing skills, just send it in to Volquartsen. This was the most difficult trigger job I've done and I'm actually kinda shocked i got it put back together correctly. Still worth it

ELIMINATING THE STUPID MAGAZINE DISCONNECT IN MY MKIV
What I love about this kit the elimination of the pointless magazine disconnect Ruger decided to put in the last couple iterations of the MK series 22LR pistols. This kit also took my 6+ pound trigger pull down to a nice crisp 2.5lb pull. Highly recommended.

Big Upgrade
Going from stock trigger internals to the volquartsen is a day and night difference. My 22/45 mk4 is now much more precise, fast and fun to shoot. Highly recommend. If you watch scootch install video on YouTube, read the comments first. I incorrectly installed sear spring the first time, there is a channel directly down it fits into, not into the mag well.

Unbelievably great trigger !!
Of all my hand guns this is my best trigger . I am including my2011 competition gun. It came out at 1 1/2 lbs. I used a Tandemkross trigger with the accurizing kit. Like I said unbelievable. A little pain to install but not to bad.

MK 4 22/45 Trigger upgrade
This kit made a huge improvement on the factory trigger. I used this kit with a Tandemkross trigger. You have to reuse the factory trigger plunger and spring. After the installation, the trigger was breaking just under 2lbs. Super satisfied with this kit.

Worth the money
Change your Mark IV pistol into thr ultimate plinking machine. Adds a very light yet crisp trigger break and smooth reset. I opted for the tandemkross flat trigger to push it to that next level. So quit looking at it and buy it already

Volquartsen Accurizing kit.
Put a Volquartsen Accurizing kit in one of your Ruger Mark series 22LR pistols and see the difference that performs in your accuracy.

Not a great fitment for 22/45 lite.
These are quality parts, however they don't all fit the 22/45 lite. I was able to use most including the hammer, sear, and spacers. It would not function properly once I intalled the whole kit, so I had to use the oe disconnector and sear spring. The trigger is alot smoother now, but not as good as advertised since I couldn't use the whole kit.

Worth the price and effort
The Ruger Mark IV is a great little handgun and is fun to shoot. It is hard to believe it can be made better. The Volquartsen accurizing kit takes a little effort to install but is well worth the time and cost. There are Volquartsen installation videos on Youtube that help explain and show the process. Now our other 22 pistols are being ignored.
