These maybe considered a requirement if you have added oversized grips to your Ruger Mark IV/III made of metal that helps eject magazine when wanted. Once installed the magazines feel solid and as if they were OEM. A bit tricky to install but once you've done 1 or 2 you'll get a feeling for how to do it without sending the spring across the room. Never try to install theses without wearing eye protection. Once installed you can forget about them, they will just work and work well. I've used a different product made of plastic and they are much trickier to get locked in place. Find one of several YouTube videos on how to install them.

nice quality, but tight fit.
I bought 10 of these to upgrade and convert a couple of 22/45 magazines. The quality is outstanding, however it was a very tight fit to slide them on to the magazine. I used a little gun oil in the groves that the magazine slides into. Additionally, to make it easier I used a rubber mallet to tap them into place. I hope I never have to attempt to remove them.
