Great replacement springs
these full power springs really enhance reliability and are a great addition to the Ruger MK IV handguns. They work well with the Volquartsen baseplates to upgrade your magazines. Great price and quality
Volquartsen does it again
The follower mag spring that comes from Ruger is no where close to being as durable as Volquartsen’s upgrade spring. If you are having issues with feeding I highly recommended this spring.

Does not work in all mags
These appear to be a just a little thicker than stock springs.
I put them in my brand new MkIV mags, and they really worked great. Noticeably stronger. I have shot one relay of Bullseye and they did not malfunction.
But then I put another pair in my old MkIII mags - they performed -worse- than stock. The mag bodies were too tight for the springs to move. They struggled to keep the mag follower up. Yes, I did clean the mag bodies.
I don't think this is a problem specific to MkIII, just variations at the factory through the years.
My recommendation is to buy just one pair. See if that one set fits all of your mags, then buy some more.
