Volquartsen VC Target Frame Review
Love this product it works flawlessly the Volquartsen Accurizing Kit partnered with the Target Trigger that come installed in it make for tighter consistent groups. After having shot my pistol my two friends that have Ruger Mark IIIs turned around and upgraded all their gun's internal parts to Volquartsen and got the same results. I absolutely would recommend this product and Volquartsen in general.
Volquartsen OD Green 1911 Frame
Volquartsen makes fantastic 22lr pistols, parts, and accessories! Was stoked Optics Planet had an OD green frame in stock—they’re difficult to come by without a wait—and shipped it quickly. Very pleased with the frame—it’s excellent, like everything Volquartsen makes!

Expensive but a quality product
I have bought this product for my other mark 2, and it makes an old reliable pistol, have not only a custom look but a way better trigger too. You also can put whatever type of 1911 grips you my fancy.

Top Notch Grip Frame
This frame fits perfectly onto a TacSol barrel. This mating needed three shims beneath the barrel lug, FYI.

Greatly improves the MKIII 22/45
If you've got a MKIII 22/45 (one piece lower version with non-replaceable grips), this Volquartsen unit is a great upgrade. Not only is the trigger much better, it also allows you to use 1911-style grip panels of your choice (a bit of fitting might be required to clear the Ruger-style controls). It also provides an easy-to-use shim kit, so you can adjust to get a snug (but not overly tight) press fit between the Ruger upper and Volquartsen lower.

WOW ITS AWESOME
I bought a Ruger 22/45 about 10 years ago. It had that cheap plastic lower. I hated it. Never really shot it. Bought this frame and now I love it. The lower is quality aluminum. The Volquartsen trigger and sear are a huge improvement. Really like it! It was expensive but wow so worth it! I wish I would have bought this years ago.

Volquartsen VC Target Frame, 1911 style
After running my Ruger MarkIII 22/45 for a number of years, my magazines were hard to lock in and then would not stay in while firing. I replaced parts but it still would not work. Replaced with this frame, now it works as expected. Really like the solid feel and light trigger pull of this. I should have done this from the beginning.
