The cummerbund fits my frame no problem, but the side panels are uselessly small. I’m roughly 6’1”, 250 lbs. The side panels barely have an 1/8” of Velcro contact. The only thing holding it closed are the two plastic side buckles. Anything I attach to the 7” wide side panels ends up behind me, and completely inaccessible. Also, my plates sit WAY too low in the carrier. Even with the carrier digging into my neck, the plate still isn’t high enough on my chest.

I really wanted to love this carrier. The build quality seems great, but the side panels just ruined it for me.

Even though there are limited online reviews and the product description from the manufacturer is not overly helpful, I was able to buy one of these cheap, so I did. This will hold 2-10X12 or 2-8x10 plates or a combination of the two sizes. 10x12s fit the best. I have not used the side pockets for armor but each side is set up to hold 2 standard capacity carbine magazines, very nice. These are not high speed placements but they are there and pretty much out of the way. It is highly adjustable for body size and set up. I use a Ronin gun belt which is exceptional so I like the plate carrier to be a little higher on the chest not to interfere with the gun belt. The quality is OK and only single stitched with some loose thread ends. This carrier is pretty comfortable for multiple body sizes. The adjustment straps are functional but a little hard to grab and tighten. I wish there was more reviews of this product b/c you can set it up many different ways, you need to play with it to figure out how it works best for you.
