Purchased to house my Mossberg Shockwave, this scabbard fits the bill perfectly. Although the trigger is exposed in the scabbard, it shouldn't be an issue with the safety on. The length is perfect for over the back wear. The modular design using Alice rigging lets you decide where to add it as a carry case. Well constructed and comfortable. It's a winner.
