Plate carrier
I know this plate carrier is on the cheaper end of the spectrum but I am still unimpressed with its performance. I got two plates weighing combined 17 pounds. What you see is not what you get.
I primarily chose voodoo tactical because they have 8 vertical rows of molle in front. Well, that is not the case. The rows on the outer edge are too narrow to be used. And conveniently, Voodoo Tactical customer service is shut down. I am beyond angry at this point. All this wait and I end up something I can't use.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- Unusable Molle space.
Best Used for:
- When you're not that picky on what you get and you're looking for something cheap.
Would recommend: No
Comfortable
The vest is comfortable and seems very durable. The only issue I have is that my soft vest had to be trimmed quite a bit to get it to fit inside the Hayden carrier. I had to trim mostly the sides on the soft vest.
