Sim's Review of Vortex Recce Pro HD 8x32mm Monocular

I was looking for a monocular mainly because I do short observation to confirm targets hits at range or determine if I am looking at a deer or a stump :) Love the glass, plenty of light. The range recticule is a real pleasure. With a little practice, I can now determine range of games and avoid my rangefinder. It also take less place than my binoculars.
Pros:
  • Recticule, clear glass, compact
Cons:
  • Eye strain if you look for a long time
