I have been big into optics for a very long time, first as a birdwatcher then as a gun enthusiast. I have owned Swarovski, Zeiss, high-end Bushnell, and Eotech optics just to name a few... and now all I own is Vortex.
I bought these after a friend let me look through his and compare to my Swarovski EL's that I had at the time. The Furies were lighter, just as bright and clear, and had a closer focus, not to mention a better warranty...at literally 1/5 the price! Granted, the Swarovskis may technically have better clarity, however the human eye can't distinguish a relative clarity degredation of less than 3%, and as much experience as I have with optics, I'm able to say with confidence that the Furies are most definitely within that threshold. So I sold the EL's, bought the Furies, and used the extra money to buy a nice scope and red dot for a couple of my rifles.
If you're a birdwatcher, hunter, or just want a nice pair of glasses these are the best bang for the buck IMO, and from a fantastic company that treats its customers right.
Pros: Lightweight, crystal clear, excellent light transmission, ergonomic, unbeatable warranty, low price
Cons: I really can't think of any
Would recommend: Yes

For the price these are a great pair of all around binos.
Together with the support strap sold separately they make a perfect day long optical partner.
The attached objective and subjective eyepiece guards add protection to weather and scratches.
Pros: these 10x42 are crisp and clear
Cons: as heavy as most other 10x42
Would recommend: Yes
