Almost perfect for its purpose
Easy to put on and adjust. Secures binoculars close to the body but still easy and comfortable to raise for viewing. The only drawback is the binocular attachment rings do not fit on my Nikons. I used cable ties to attach the binoculars to the harness. Works fine so far.

Bino Harness
Great product. Renewed my old one due to the elastic in the strap lost its elasticity.

High quality
Very well built piece of kit. Quality of materials and craftsmanship. The straps included to connect the harness to the binoculars were too wide to fit into the slots on the optics, but were easy to trim with scissors for a good fit. Bought these for convenience when traveling and bird watching but would trust these for more rigorous use, like hunting.

Great harness for binocs
I had a chance to go birding with a friend and they loaned me a pair of binoculars that had this Vortex strap. I immediately noticed two things: they kept the bingos close to my body with little or no bounce and they made it supremely easy to bring them up to eye level for use. For me they made the binos actually easier and quicker to use than a neck strap.
Now Vortex does include a similar set up strap that works with their soft-sided bino case. This may be all you need and comes with most of their binos. For me, I prefer to leave the case and have my binos at the ready. I would also say that the leather part of these has the Vortex logo in what I think is an unnecessarily loud and gaudy way. I like Vortex, but I do not care to be a billboard. I did remove one star for this.

Superior glass!
We really like these for Vortex Diamondback binoculars. I think the link I clicked was for review of the harness. And that is definitely a winner as well. I can wear my binoculars and the harness all day. Mostly, I do not fasten across my chest. And the binoculars can either hang down on the left side or the right side.
Often times I wear a light vest over the harness and binoculars.It is a brilliant set up.
I had a tough time convincing myself to spend the money for the harness strap, but it turned out to be a great buy.

Love the harness strap.

Impossible setup
Harness rings don’t fit Binoculars. Rings impossible to thread through attachments. A 5 minute job took two tools and 30 minutes. I’m sure no one at Vortex ever assembled this rig to their binoculars.

Comfortable carry strap
The Vortex Binocular Harness Strap is nice and lightweight. It evenly distributes the weight of the binoculars making them comfortable to carry and easy to access when out in the field hunting for big game.
