Good binocular harness but attention to detail needs improvement - Vortex Binocular Harness Strap

I bought this binocular harness to go with a new pair of Vortex Vanquish 10x26 compact binoculars. The harness is well made, comfortable, and adjustable for different body types. The only issue I had was that the loop attachments that goes through the binocular attachment housings did not fit the compact binocular size. The loops were to big to fit through the holes on the binocular housing. I called Vortex about this and they suggested I cut the extra material (rubber) off the loops in order to fit through the holes. They said they only have one size for all their binoculars and were aware that the compact binoculars needed to be customized (by customer) to fix the problem. I would think they would have done a little better job on this issue since it was a Vortex harness and a Vortex set of binoculars but nothing a pair of scissors cannot fix.
