Problem solver - Vortex Cantilever 30mm Ring for StrikeFire

I ordered a new Strikefire to mount on a dangerous-game bolt rifle, after conferring with a Vortex tech on that application. Well, the ocular lens housing is too long for proper eye relief using conventional rings on my Weaver-style bases; so an alternate scope ring setup became necessary. A search turned up the cantilever mount; and my perception was that two of these (one on each receiver ring base) should solve the problem. Not only solved that problem but also facilitated quick scope removal for close-range use of the express sights. Admittedly, this array looks a bit unusual; but there are lots of other unusual displays at the range...and then there's "form follows function."
