Extremely Well-Build Absolute Co-Witness May Be for You, But It Wasn't for Me.
I ordered this absolute co-witness because I thought it's what I'd want. It wasn't. If you're reading this to read about fit, finish and quality of build, then I will tell you it's amazing, which is why I rated it as highly as I did. The instructions are clear, inch-pounds clearly indicated, and it's finished very (VERY) well. The reason I say it wasn't for me is because Vortex knew what I wanted for my Strikefire/M-4 setup better than me. vortex cantilever 30mm ring
I bought the 1 inch vortex cantilever 30mm ring mount along side the strikefire so I could have absolute co-witneas. I mounted it up and it aligns with my backup irons perfectly. Wish Vortex included this version with the Strikefire but now I have a backup mount if needed.

Not Exactly
I ordered this mount for my Vortex Strikfire II red dot which came with a mount but I was mounting it on Browning Maxus 1 using a Vent rib picatinney adapter. I wanted to reverse the cantilever mount to bring the optic closer to my eye but the mount that came on the Strikefire Ii did not move it as far towards my eye as I liked and it seemed a bit high so when I saw this mount’s description as to being lower from 40mm to 37mm and offset extra 1” I thought it would be perfect but that was not entirely accurate. I compared the CM305 mount to the one that came of the Strikefire II and indeed it was lower by the amount in description but it did NOT offset the optic as I thought it would as in its description by a additional 1”. The optic when mounted in the CM305 mount was in exactly the same position (in relation to the distance to the eye ) as the original mount only 3mm lower.

Usual Vortex Quality
This was a replacement from the original mount that came with my Strikefire. I had an LPVO on this particular AR for a couple years, but when I decided to switch back to Strikefire I couldn't find the mount. I was relieve to see that Optics Planey was selling the exact mount I needed, and I like this new one even a bit better than the old one I've had on there for years. A very rock solid piece that you won't go wrong in buying.

Great product.
This product came in just as advertised. It came in very quickly and fit just the way it was supposed to. Upon use it acted very sturdy and was easy to adjust sights once it was put together. It came with tool to install or remove piece. Really good buy for price. Always good to ha e spare parts.

Great Option for Builders and tinkering
I bought these after doing the math and realizing that I can mount my flip up sights underneath my optic by using these and changing out the nobs for QD levers. The absolute co witness did not disappoint, it works well with my front sight and LPVO when my magnification is set to 1x. The mounts hold firm and the quality is exactly what you would expect from Vortex.

Great mount
East to install! Very sturdy! Vortex is the way to go for anything optics related! Well designed! Lightweight! Shipped very fast! No complaints here! I reccomend vortex for all rifles and binoculars! Vortex all the way! Used this to mount a vortex reddot on my ak! Looks awesome!

Vortex Scope Mount
Excellent scope mount. Very high quality materials and looks very incredible on my M4. I purchased this mount for my red dot scope configured for full co-witness. Additionally I had the mount cerakoted to match the color of my M4 and it looks amazing. The oversized mounting screw makes it easy to adjust the position on my rail even with shooting gloves. Highly recommend this mount for anyone with red dot sight looking for a 30mm mount.

Great mount
Bought a strike fire second hand but the mount was to low to fit on my M4. So I bought this vortex cantilever couldn't be happier. Took it out sighted it in, after 300 hundred rounds it's still holding zero.

Problem solver
I ordered a new Strikefire to mount on a dangerous-game bolt rifle, after conferring with a Vortex tech on that application. Well, the ocular lens housing is too long for proper eye relief using conventional rings on my Weaver-style bases; so an alternate scope ring setup became necessary. A search turned up the cantilever mount; and my perception was that two of these (one on each receiver ring base) should solve the problem. Not only solved that problem but also facilitated quick scope removal for close-range use of the express sights. Admittedly, this array looks a bit unusual; but there are lots of other unusual displays at the range...and then there's "form follows function."

HIGH QUALITY MOUNT
I PURCHASED THIS MOUNT, WHEN I ORDERED MY STRIKEFIRE II. IT CAME WITH A CANTILEVER MOUNT, BUT I WANTED AN ABSOLUTE CO-WITNESS MOUNT FOR MY OPTIC, TO WORK WITH MY FLIP UP IRON SIGHTS.
