Great optic for the price
I have a Vortex Diamondback 20-60x80 spotting scope. It’s good for what it is, but it is really too large and heavy for what I primarily use it for. When I saw they had released this scope and at the price I jumped on it. I am very impressed with the overall quality. To my eye it is even sharper than the more expensive Diamondback it is replacing. The built in ARCA foot makes attaching to bipods a snap. The tethered lens covers are also a nice upgrade. If you are looking for a lite and handy spotter at an unbelievable price I highly recommend this one.

More instruction please
Great scope. But the directions are poor. In the box was a small plastic bag with the world’s smallest Allen wrench what is that for? Emailed Vortex who prides them selves on customer service, never heard back. Also bracket included but it fits on tripod without it again no explanation. Maybe I’m just a dummy but no everyone is a scope genius.

Good Choice, Happy Purchase
This is my new favorite purchase, picture is clear, and my favorite part is the size. Its not overbearingly large, its perfect for keeping in the bag, or a pouch and pulling when needed. I recommend this spotter if your not a bench shooter. Hunting, tactical and or scenic admirer. Its for sure a backpack/pouch spotting scope and a good one at that!

Worth Every Penny
I do a lot of 100 and 200 yard target shooting and I sight in scopes for my friends so I was looking for a scope that could see where I was landing my shots and this is perfect. The Vortex name speaks for itself as I own Many Vortex products so after trying many scope of similar magnification and returning then I spent a little more money and ordered this model and have no regrets. Very clear glass and easy eye relief even at full magnification. I was going to get the next higher magnification and probably will later in the future but to put in my range bag this is a perfect size and weight. I highly recommend this spotting scope.

Geat little spotting scope.
This scope is the perfect size for range use and spotting in the mountains (12”Lx 6”H x 3”W ish). It’s not the highest magnification but it’s clear and easy to use. This was a perfect replacement for a larger old Barska and this has much clearer glass and adjustments are easier to make. The only cons are no small tripod or carrying case. It only comes with a neoprene covers and caps; while it does protect scope, a case would be nice. All in all, I definitely recommend.

Perfect first scope
I purchased this scope for my 12 year old for his first spotting scope. It is the perfect balance of magnification, size and weight for him. It fits in his backpack perfectly along with his tripod and binoculars. I’m super happy with the quality of glass for the price and you can’t go wrong with the Vortex warranty.

Vortex Spotting scope
This scope at the higher magnifications cannot give a full view if you are wearing glasses ( shooting glasses) you need to remove your glasses and put your eye touching the rubber surrounding the lens in order to get the full view through the scope. inconvenient for shooting OK for viewing w/o glasses.
