Good if your expectations are reasonable
This is a good spotting scope if you catch it on sale and you're not expecting the performance of a scope that costs 3 to 10 times as much.
The good is that it is clear and and reasonably sharp with decent contrast at 20x, and this remains up to just past 40x. The construction seems to be sturdy, and the indexed and lockable body rotation ring is nice. It comes with a nice padded soft armor wrap that has quick-release ocular and objective covers. Fantastic spotting scope for range use at a great price
I bought this primarily for range use. I've only used it once but I'm really impressed at the overall quality of the scope, which seems really rugged and I won't have any concerns chucking it in with everything else in my range bag. The picture quality is excellent, and I could easily assess where my 5.56 rounds were hitting the target @ 200 yards.

Impressive scope for the price
Only recently I've been using long guns on my ranch to shoot wild hogs. Zeroing scopes and optics to 100 yards or more without a spotting scope can be a tedious task; shoot 1-3 rounds, walk to the target to see the results, walk back, adjust, repeat until getting zero. I finally broke down and found this Vortex Crossfire HD 20-60x80 scope at Optics Planet. You can spend many hundreds of dollars more for these scopes but for my needs this model gets it done. Nothing about this scope looks cheap or bargain basement; it comes in a very high quality box, the build quality is excellent, and the clarity and magnification are superb. It comes with a neoprene cover to provide added protection from getting banged up but it doesn't hinder focusing or adjustments. The provided mount worked fine with a photography tripod I had on hand. I'm very satisfied with this scope and am confident it will make my future distance target practice scoring and zeroing much easier.

Seems to be good quality. Very clear to my old eyes. Bigger than i thought it would be. Like the straight eyepiece.

I can see ants going up my tree in the backyard. The view is perfect the glass is superb. Buy it you won't regret it.
