Great optic!
I was going to mount a 4-16 X 50mm Burris on my new Ruger Precision 22 rimfire but I also had this scope new in the box like the Burris. I chose the Vortex because it was 44mm so I could mount it closer to the bore axis. When I opened the box, I found 2 booklets, 1 for rimfire using the BDC dots and 1 for various centerfire caliber BDC dot information. I will always be a Burris fanboy, but Vortex is closing that gap fast!

Very happy with this for my 10/22 plinking rifle. Like the adjustable parrelax for shooting targets at 100uds or hunting squirrels at 30yds.

Best scope buy for the money - period
I design and build custom one-of-a-kind 10/22 rifles. I use this scope on every build and have several on my own rifles - 10/22s and centerfire.
They are clear, have fantastic adjustment and come with a sunshade.
The amount of internal adjustment is superior and allows the scope to be used in any situation from 15 yards to infinity.
The lifetime warranty is great, but I've never had to use it, nor have my customers.

Great Scope
I reallly like Vortex scopes. I bought a Crossfire 2 last year and it impressed me so when I wanted a outher scope i looked for a Vortex. Wow, this Crossfire HD is an improvement over the crossire 2. Even the packaging looked good. I'm not a professional, i just like taking my .22 rifles to the range to punch out some holes on paper. I'm not the person who is going to spend $1k on a scope for that, I woud rather buy anouther .22 and put a vortex scope on it. But that's me. I personally think the Vortex HD is good value for my money. When i buy the next .22 rife, a Vortex will go on top.
