Good scope - Vortex Crossfire II 2-7x32mm Rifle Scope, 1in Tube, Second Focal Plane

So to be frank I got into an argument with a man that works for me because he said that Vortex were as good as Leupold. I protested intensely because Leupold is made in the USA (except the green rings) and Vortex is not. I've used Leupolds for 35+ years hunting from Alaska to South Africa and had NO issues. But I went ahead and ordered this scope and a Diamondback as well. I sighted it in here at the range in Alaska in 5 below zero tempretures. Then a week later I hunted with this scope on an AR with a 7.62x29 upper and chased hogs thru the piney woods of east Texas last month in 45 degree and raining weather. I harvested 2 big boars using this scope. I have to admit that the sight picture was crisp. The crosshairs stayed clear and it held zero at all magnifications even though I sighted it in and hunted with it in two extreme tempreture ranges. It also seemed to gather good light at dawn and at dusk. Albeit is not a Leupold, but for the price, the value seems very good. Thanks.
