This is an all around good scope for any type of hunting. The scope works better than the $800 scopes. I need to find the flip up lens covers and get rid of that elastic cord lens covers. You can't beat the Vortex warranty. It works well on my Rem 700 .308 .

Cons:
  • Lens caps are kind of flimsy
Best Used for:
  • hunting
  • Deer and hog hunting.
  • Hog and coyote hunting at night
