Best scope yet for night hunting under feeders - Vortex Crossfire II Hog Hunter 3-12x56mm 30mm Tube Second Focal Plane Rifle Scope

I bought this scope to correct the problem of being unable to see where my crosshairs intersect on a black hog using black reticle at night under a feeder light. I would have to "guesstimate" and too often I was unsure of my shot. Feeder is out 100 yards and has a Green Kill Light on it controlled by a motion detector. This scope sucks in light and holds zero perfectly. The V-brite reticle set on 1 is perfect for making these shots. I mounted it on a Marlin 336 in 30-30 with high 30mm rings. This is my first Vortex scope and I'm sure my next will be a Vortex too.
Pros: tough, accurate, and reliable
Cons: a tad heavy
