TC's Review of Vortex Crossfire II Hog Hunter 3-12x56mm 30mm Tube Second Focal Plane Rifle Scope
Bought this scope for yearly August Texas night time hog hunting on lighted feed stations.
Got one for my son's leftie Remington 700 BDL and was so impressed that I bought one for myself for mounting on Remington 750 Autoloader.
Another August hog hunt coming up - this time with all my son's and my grandson. Boys "nights out" so to speak.
Everyone else uses Vortex 1x4 Crossfire II vbrites, as their shots are closer.
Between Vortex Scopes and Optics Planet who could want more.

Pros:
- Easy to mount on picanity rails and 30 mm mount rings.
- I used "medium" height Vortes Hunter rings on son's leftie Remington 700 BDL and my Remington 750 Autoloader.
Cons:
- Almost impossible to mount to weaver style rails and retain proper eye relief. Spacing on 30 mm tube is limited and therfore ring attachment area is also limited in comparison to other Vortex Crossfire vbrite scope I have used.
