I shoot a rifle with considerable recoil and this scope has good eye relief of 3 plus inches as well as ease of acquisition of target unlike many of the higher priced scopes. It tracks well and the glass is outstanding. I have already bought another Vortex scope. Believe it or not I am replacing my Arken with 6-18x44 vortex. Arken short eye relief. I got bit by that scope. Going to put Arken on my 22 Mag.
