It may be my vision - Vortex Crossfire II AO 6-24x50mm 30mm Tube Second Focal Plane Rifle Scope

I've recently ordered 3 high end scopes and 2 lower priced scopes and only 1 is sharp and has excellent contrast in less than perfect light conditions. This isn't that one, neither are the higher end optics. I'm thinking a few years ago this scope would be in the 129.00 range but with the nonexistent inflation that somehow doubled the price of everything, we are not getting what we pay for. I did consider it was my old eyes that were the problem, but the older scopes in my possession are tack sharp edge to edge and in low light or overcast skies contrast does not suffer at all, so there goes that theory. Another complaint is the busy crosshair that seem to dominate the marketplace. All I need is a thin set of crosshairs and I'll do the rest. This optic has some hash marks, dots or whatever they are called, and the lines are not overly thick. If it is possible to look through the scope before purchasing, a friend, brick and mortar store before hitting the buy button is your best bet.
