This sight was listed as new but was clearly used when I received it. There are scratches on the sight and the battery isolator was missing, and the battery was dead.

Thi Optic is Flawless

As I mentioned in my title, this optic is flawless. I say that in regards to the carry optic because it’s rugged, enclosed, and has a full battery capacity of 2032. It’s proportionally nice, not too big for carry, and not too small, making it difficult to acquire the red dot. I would say Vortex hit a home run on this one. It’s nice that it has solar power, but for carry, other than practice, it’s not really needed. However, it’s a nice perk added benefit.

Glass is clear and the dot is crisp. Buttons are easy to use and the lockout mode is great as well. Highly recommend this dot for the money.

Great Little Dot

Couldn’t have been happier with this purchase. The dot is clear and easy to pick up quick. Grabbed some Trijicon suppressor height sights and have a great lower 1/3 cowitness situation that I’m very comfortable with. And what is there not to love about that Vortex warranty!

Excellent optic — very impressed

I’ve been very happy with the Vortex Defender-CCW Enclosed Solar Micro. The enclosed design was one of the biggest selling points for me because it provides additional protection from dust, debris, and the elements while still maintaining a compact footprint.

Vortex also has an excellent reputation for standing behind its products, which was another factor in my decision.

Overall, I think the Defender-CCW Enclosed Solar Micro offers an excellent combination of durability, size, features, and value. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a compact enclosed red-dot optic.
