Overall nice optic, but I ordered by mistake. I needed an RMR footprint. This is Delta point pro footprint But will certainly revisit this product in the near future

Improvement over Venom & Viper

This is my 3rd Vortex micro Dot sight and the best one so far. It was easy to sight-in and I liked the improved click adjustment. Also love the shake-awake activation option. The Venom I bought a Month earlier appears to be defective and wont adjust. Reminds me of Tommy Boy and the pooh in a box with a warranty = its still pooh. Considering the Defender was on sale and under $175, its worth that but I wouldnt pay any higher for a Vortex. Im probaby done buying their products after several have failed...

Nice optic

Nice site. Really like the operation of it. Only negatives are the instructions could be a little better. No mention on how to open the battery cap...looks like it should be a larger bit than just the tip of it. I can see this getting stripped easily. Also, it doesn't mention which screws go with mounting for picatinny rail mount. Had to google it to make sure I wasn't going booger up the threads. FYI, it's the M4 x 0.7, 11mm.

Easy Install, spot on performance.

Was very impressed that it came with an array of mounting hardware. Likely covers a majority of platforms. Took less than 5 minjtes to install, and a mere 8 rounds to zero the dot. Love the fov and the visibility of the dot.
