Vortex defender ST
The item is amazing 5/5 stars I use the item on a competition shooting pistol. My struggle was with the order process. My order was stopped because I put a different shipping address from the billing address. Honestly it pissed me off because I selected that the billing address is different and they stopped the order and I had to start all over again
Pros:
- Good items,
- Pricing and sales
Cons:
- Payment process and verification

Surprisingly Great RDS at this price!!,
I bought this (6 MOA version) for my Benelli M4 EXT. I was not certain how well it would hold up in semi auto shotgun world, I went through ~350 rounds of Federal OO buck to break the shotgun in and was an instant fan. Held zero perfectly and took the beating like a champ. I liked it so much, I bought a second (3 MOA version) for my Glock 19x Series V MOS and am equally pleased. Comes with all the mounting provisions you heart could desire (pic rail, Glock MOS specific, a variety of screws, etc.) I have always been a Vortex fan and rolled the dice on a wallet friendly RDS for a shotgun. What a winner!
Pros:
- durable
- Quality glass
- Crisp Dot
- Great price excellent product support from manufacturer
- All hardware and tool included
Cons:
- Addictive
Best Used for:
- Pistols, shotguns, sub-guns

An Absolute Tank with Crystal Clear Glass
I recently upgraded my range pistol with the Vortex Defender-ST 1x23mm Reflex Sight (3 MOA), and it has completely exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a red dot that can handle serious abuse while maintaining a perfect zero, this is it.

ST on a S&W M&P 9 2.0 compact optic ready
Picked the ST over the CCW since the frame of this pistol is a little larger than a concealed carry and nothing wrong with having a larger window to look through. Take your time mounting it and check all the screw options you will have. The ST comes with a wide assortment of screws with the bags labeled for size and which brand they will fit. The M&P comes with its own assortment of screws and multiple mounting plates. I ended up using the M&P hardware. The #6 mounting / spacer plate and the type B screws. These screws are a little longer than the Vortex recommended screws and having a few more threads in the hole is good for me. I also triple checked to make sure the screws did not protrude into the slide opening when installed and torqued. The only down side of this ST is the awkward battery position and it’s not an enclosed emitter. But for more $, Vortex makes that style Defender too!
