Vortex Defender XL Green Dot 3 MOA
I bought the Vortex Defender XL to go on a pistol that had a Deltapoint adapter plate for . Green dot is excellent . Shake awake and auto shut off is a must . Large window is fantastic ( a little taller but not as wide as Holosun 507 Comp ) . Top install battery tray design is great and side brightness buttons are large and tactile . Comes with a variety of screws depending on the brand of pistol you are installing on . Also comes with a picatinny mount for use on a railed gun . Even comes with a Glock MOS plate and screws but I don’t know anyone who uses those . The deck height is about the s...

Defender XL
Has a huge window and easy to use. Green is kinder to the eyes vs red. I can shoot with both colors but favoring the green dot lately. Backed by vortex’s lifetime warranty. Get you one.

Excellent Red Dot
I have about eight of these vortex Defender XL red dots. I have them on my competition guns and multiple other weapons in my gun safe. The sight is clear, the window is huge and the dot is highly adjustable for any lighting conditions. They’re extremely durable, they always work and have a no questions asked lifetime warranty.

Huge window!
I love the huge window and the dot is easy to find. Its built like tank and locks up to my PDP like it was made for it.

Vortex Defender XL is Great
Thoroughly enjoying this big window 3 moa green dot. Vortex knocks it out of the park supplying everything you need to mount this optic on your firearm, Glock MOS plate included that actually fits better than a Glock rmr plate. This is my 2nd Vortex optic.

The Vortex Defender-XL has been outstanding on my PCC. I absolutely love the green dot—it’s bright, clear, and easy to pick up, especially during fast strings. The shake-awake feature works perfectly and is a huge plus.
The large window really shines, giving an excellent field of view and making transitions quick and effortless. I was also pleasantly surprised by the included mounting options—having the Picatinny mount and several other choices right in the box was something I didn’t even realize I’d be getting.
Overall, this is a fantastic optic with great features and value. Highly recommend—easy five stars.
