Vortex Defender XL Green Dot 3 MOA
I bought the Vortex Defender XL to go on a pistol that had a Deltapoint adapter plate for . Green dot is excellent . Shake awake and auto shut off is a must . Large window is fantastic ( a little taller but not as wide as Holosun 507 Comp ) . Top install battery tray design is great and side brightness buttons are large and tactile . Comes with a variety of screws depending on the brand of pistol you are installing on . Also comes with a picatinny mount for use on a railed gun . Huge window!
I love the huge window and the dot is easy to find. Its built like tank and locks up to my PDP like it was made for it.

Vortex Defender XL is Great
Thoroughly enjoying this big window 3 moa green dot. Vortex knocks it out of the park supplying everything you need to mount this optic on your firearm, Glock MOS plate included that actually fits better than a Glock rmr plate. This is my 2nd Vortex optic.

The Vortex Defender-XL has been outstanding on my PCC. I absolutely love the green dot—it’s bright, clear, and easy to pick up, especially during fast strings. The shake-awake feature works perfectly and is a huge plus.
The large window really shines, giving an excellent field of view and making transitions quick and effortless. I was also pleasantly surprised by the included mounting options—having the Picatinny mount and several other choices right in the box was something I didn’t even realize I’d be getting.
Overall, this is a fantastic optic with great features and value. Highly recommend—easy five stars.

Presbyopia: normal loss of near focusing ability thereby increasing the size of the red dot and window helps with finding the target.

Well worth it

Great dots
I have 2 of these on my competition guns. The glass is real nice and I like the top tray batter compartment. It’s nice they take 2032 batteries too and great warranty if I ever have to use it. It’s also nice they include screws for every mounting situation and a rail mount if you need it.
