Does not return to zero. - Vortex Diamondback Rimfire 2-7x35mm 1in Tube Second Focal Plane Rifle Scope

I have this mounted on a marlin 30-30. Only difference between this one and the non rimfire is the parallax. Decided to take some shots at 300 yards today and adjusted for 10 moa. When returning back to zero, it was about an inch low. Scope is good for set and forget. But if you want to play around at different ranges and return to zero, it was off. A good scope to me should return to zero.
