This is a very good scope - Vortex Diamondback 20-60x80 Spotting Scope

I looked a long time for a decent spotting scope that I could afford. All of the budget scopes I looked at didn't satisfy my need to see 22 cal. holes at 100 yards regardless of target background. I have to admit that I have 70 year old eyes so some of the budget scopes might work for someone with better eyesight. I tried the Vortex Diamondback at Cabelas and decided that was the quality I wanted but wasn't quite ready to spend that much money. Then Optics Planet had a sale and I couldn't resist. I am very happy that with the sale and stretching my budget a little I was able to get this quality scope. Now that I have had this scope for a while, I am convinced I would choose it again - sale or no sale.
