Not satisfied
The scope was hard to focus and just did not live up to my expectations, used it for birding. My buddy has been birding for over 20 years and has used many scopes. He looked through it once and recommended I send it back right away.
Pros: Easy/quick set up
Cons: Focus, clarity
Nice, real Nice!
Works like I expected, easy to use but you must a Tri- pod or car mount to get the best use. Unit is a little bulky but setup , use and focusing are a breeze. Just returned from the mountains and the scope worked great!

Vortex Diamondback 20-60x80 Spotting Scope
I was looking for a lightweight scope and with the reviews i read this was it. Good scope for the money, I find the focus a little ruff when adjusting, but can deal with it.The weight is what I was trying to gain, since my 80mm is not weight friendly to pack. Clarity was good on viewing of animals at many different magnifications. I would recommend this scope to someone.

Great scope for the money.
I think most experienced shooters know you can't get the spotting scope of your dreams for $500. If you're looking to see a fly's eye color at 300 yards you will have to spend a lot more of your hard-earned money. The good news is if you want a nice optic for use at reasonable ranges for seeing your hits then this scope is a great value. I have used a few of these lower-priced spotters and this one is way better than it's $500 price would indicate. I am very happy with the image quality for the price paid and have seen nothing else that compares. I will be very happy with this optic until I move up to a better more expensive model and then due to the Vortex lifetime transferable warranty, I will sell this one for good money. I highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a spotter in this price range.

Vortex diamondback scope 20-60×80
Use mostly for birding. Image clarity is great. Lightweight and the Vortex policies can't be beat. I also purchased the vortex pro gt tripod. Sturdy, easy to use with a quick release plate which attaches to the base of the scope.

Vortex spotting scope
This is a good all around spotting scope for the adverge Hunter that won't break the bank but gets the job done. I have many vortex Scopes and none of them have let me down. I would suggest this to anyone wanting to get a good solid spotting scope or any of there Scopes for that matter

well made with excellent clarity throughout magnification range.
Have had this spotting scope at the range three times and so far I am very pleased with its performance. It is well constructed, the magnification and focus adjustments are smooth and precise. I have not used it beyond 100 yards but I am able to clearly see .17 caliber holes on white background.
I especially like the ability to rotate the body of the scope and lock it in place as it makes it much easier to spot groupings while seated at a bench.
I give Vortex high marks for this one.

A perfect guide’s scope
I am a guide for folks that want to see Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. This spotting scope is great to see wildlife when the animals are too far to see with eyes or animals that are not close to the road. It works great and it is easy to use for those that are not familiar with a scope.

Diamond Back 20-60x80 review
Bought this just to take to gun range and help me with shooting accuracy only. I usually shoot between 100 - 200 yards targets. I think that the 200 yard range is close to max capability for this scope. It did reach out to 200 yards and let me see my shots with good clarity. That was at max magnification and focusing as good as i could get it. I shoot .223 rem and my son shoots 22lr. I could see his shots at 100 yards like as if i was standing right next to the target.
I paired this with the Vortex High Country tripod which worked great together. All in all a great bargain at this price range. Just be aware if you need to go farther than 200 yards to see bullet impact, you might want to get the Viper or Razor. If you are just buying to sight see while hiking, then this scope is the best deal.

Great Product, Great Price
Bought this spotting scope as an option to keep in the truck for quick setup on varmint. Haven’t had any issues or complaints. Glass is great, and for a lower priced alternative to the Razor series, this product has performed above and beyond my expectations. Have used it in dry and humid conditions, and haven’t had many issues with excessive fogging of the lense. The ease of use and quick identification to zoom capabilities has allowed my kids to get the hang of quick target acquisition. All around this is like many of the other Vortex products - best in class for the price!

Range spoting scope
This product does what it says. I use it to spot at the range. The clarity is excellent, I can see 40 caliber holes at 300 meters, even in the black bulls eye area. An excellent product that works well for me. I also like the unlimited lifetime warranty
