Bought this binoculars for the outdoor shooting range, and is all you might need, excellent quality on materials and vision in general, is clear, you might need a tripod for long time holding.

First pair of high-powered binoculars....
Chose these binoculars because they are reasonably priced. I own two red dots from Vortex and love them. I knew the glass would be quality and body would be rugged. I plan to use them on the range whenever I get there. Debated on whether to purchase a spotting scope instead but, realized I would use binoculars in other activities besides. Recommend a tripod to stabilize if you're going to use them on the range (adapter included). Really love these, lens are clear, and easily adjustable. Feel solid without being heavy. Included chest case is a plus!
My only concern is the use of a lock washer to stabilize the binoculars using included adapter. The lock washer cuts into the body of the binoculars at the mounting point. I will see if a neoprene washer will do the same thing.

Powerful and does not need tripod
I have 8x32 and 10x42 diamondback HD binos. This is the perfect addition yielding a useful and clear step up in magnification. They are not so powerful that you need a tripod, they are stable when handheld. The Diamondback HD’s are great quality, look and feel awesome and give you all you need in a high powered bino. The pack and strap are great too.

- If you have a pupillarly distance under 59, they dont get any narrower due to large objective lenses.
