Recommended by area bird guides - Vortex Diamondback HD 8x42mm Roof Prism Binoculars

I was wanting to upgrade my binoculars. I was on a bird walk with 5 highly skilled bird guides and noticed they all were using Vortex. When I asked the group they all said "Yes, Vortex". I had to be very careful with my choice because of my very narrow IPD. Not many binoculars will fold down to the 55mm that I need. This Diamondback HD does. I'm very pleased with the optics and the warranty. Optics Planet offered a price substantially lower than Amazon which is always a plus. I had ordered 2 pair of hiking shoes from them earlier and have been pleased with their prices, prompt delivery and communication.
