Built like a miniature brick outhouse - Vortex Diamondback HP 3-12x42mm Rifle Scope

I feel compelled to commenting on my new Vortex 3-12x42 Diamondback HP V plex riflescope since I have been purchasing items to make my hunting/shooting experiences as pleasant as possible. I purchased this scope for my .243 varmit rifle for which I generally make shots at no longer than 100 yards. This scope exceeds my limitations in every way. Side parallax adjustment from 30 yds to 500 and beyond, an easy to operate magnification ring for my arthritic fingers, super generous eye relief and crisp/clear image definition at all magnification settings. I cranked up the magnification on a mesquite tree over 50yds away and was able to see each individual leaf needle with perfect definition and image contrast. that's mind blowing! The scope comes with a sunshade for which I plan on keeping attached in all sun and weather conditions and for proactive lens protection. I do plan on getting a custom elevation knob to make quick adjustments as I plan on pushing my target ranges further beyond my comfort zone.
