Home Run Vortex
I recently purchased this scope to mount on a Ruger American Ranch in 5.56. I was looking for a front focal plane scope that wouldn't break the bank. Usually I believe you get what you pay for in optics. I had bought a primary arms 4-14x44 after seeing all the great reviews. I sold it pretty quickly...

Failed after 150 rds of .308
At first I LOVED this scope. I had 1.6 MOA grouping at 200 yards with 10 rounds!
GUN: Tikka T3X Lite .308
After around 150 rounds it all fell apart. Groupings were 4 MOA at best at 100 yards with none of them close to each other. I was testing different rounds and went back to the round that gave...

Vortex scope
It’s a vortex scope. There’s enough information on these. Sale was good. Delivery was prompt. No complaints

Good Rifle Scope - Durable
If you are typically shooting within 500 yards, this scope is a really good option. No fancy whistles and bells, but the glass is clear, and the turrets work fine, and it is easy to focus (not too tight). I had an accident on my first day out with it as the wind blew over the propped up rifle and it fell to the ground (on concrete). It scraped part of the scope, but still works fine - so very durable. This is the second one I own, so I'm obviously very happy with this model scope and Vortex in general.
Pros:
- clear glass
Cons:
- nothing
Best Used for:
- Shooting out to 500 yards

Worth the money
Nice scope clear crisp. Easy to use, easy to adjust power. Easty to manipulate the elevation and windage. Reticle is clear at all powers

Diamondback tactical 4-16
Bought for a varmint ar platform and, for the sub $400 optic, I’m impressed. Eye relief is very good compared to the regular diamondback line and glass is very clear. Only downside is turrets don’t lock and there’s no zero stop.
Pros:
- eye relief
- Glass Quality
- FFP
Cons:
- no zero stop
- No locking turret
Best Used for:
- target

Couldn’t see center of crosshairs loved everything else about scope, clarity, brightness, and fit for my gun. Just not a good fit for my old eyes.

Great scope
Hands down the best price on these optics anywhere. Plus, they stuff your smallish scope box in a big box and overwrap your items to ensure their safety during shipping.
