GRB's Review of Vortex High Country II Tripod Kit

Great tripod. Built like a tank and very sturdy. I am using it for a Vortex Crossfire 20x60 80 spotting scope and it handles the weight well. Very easy to adjust and the Arca Swiss mounting plate makes mounting the scope easy. No additional mounting plate needed. Worth the money.
Pros:
  • Very stable and easy to adjust.
Cons:
  • A little heavy to pack on a backpacking trip.
Best Used for:
  • Range. Hunting. Competition
  • Range, hunting, competitive shooting.
