Like other reviewers have said, there are no instructions. I really didn't think something like this could need instructions. I figured the other reviewers were a bunch of dummies and probably wore Velcro shoes. Well apparently, I should also be wearing Velcro shoes. I still don't know if I have it on right. It only has three pieces but the inside honeycomb and ring can go in several ways, none of which seem well engineered. I can still see through my Vortex Viper PST 4-16x50 so that's a plus. It looks cool, another plus. But $50 for a poorly engineered piece of Plastic, I don't know. Their higher end scopes use a screw in killflash, probably a better design. I haven't used mine in the feild yet but I think it will work fine. My targets will never see the glare off my scope. They are also supposed to be an effective way to reduce sun glare, eliminating the need for a long ugly sun shade.
