$50 for this piece of plastic seems steep, and it is. When I purchased it, I was expecting a well engineered piece that would work seamlessly with my Vortex rifle scopes. What I got was an overpriced piece of plastic and rubber that only marginally met my expectations. The ARD falls off when I open the flip cap and the colors become distorted when using the ARD. white becomes egg shell, and tan becomes more brown. Doesn't sound like much of an issue, but when taking longer shots it comes into play when trying to identify targets that blend into their surroundings. Also, installation was not seamless and took a little bit of playing with.
Pros: fits objective, eliminates flash
