Keeps Getting Better
Everytime vortex updates a product, it goes from a good value to a great value.
I had their VMX magnifier and for the money, it was nice. I just wasn't a big fan of the setup especially with a simple dot reticle in my optic.
Now that I am running a couple complex reticle red dots (circle dots, ballistic circle dots, acss) I wanted to try a magnifier again.
2.6 inches of relief is tight but it is definitely better than any other magnifier i have used. I am running buis less and less as the quality of optics and my typical usage makes them unnecessary so I the placement of this magnifier doesnt bother me.
Compact design, solid mount with positive engagement for both closed and open positions.
Time will tell if I keep this setup but it is noticeably better than the last time i tried it out and it has more potential thanks to the reticle options for red dots these days.

Solid choice for magnified optic
I love the clarity and overall straight forward design. This is my first magnifier, I have to say that I am impressed with the magnification within such a compact package. I plan on finding a riser that shall work with this magnifier as I am personally a larger guy. It is not absolutely necessary but I am in need for the set up that I have. So long as you do not have a cheek riser on your stock/brace you should have an issue. I do believe the Unity Fast Omni mount should work on this based on what I have found. I have this paired with Vortex's UH-1 Gen 2. Extremely happy with my choice.

Eye Relief not the best
The price, hardware and over all look of the thing is great. It works well and is very clear. Unfortunately for me I thought the eye relief is too close for my liking/setup.

Excellent magnifier for the money
For its balance of price and quality, the Vortex Micro 3x is tough to beat. It does its job, has good class clarity, and aligns perfectly with the Vortex Sparc AR. The only downside I've experienced is that, if the magnifier is set too far back on the rail, the release latch interferes with a non-ambidextrous charging handle. Not such that you can't use the charging handle, but enough to slow you down.

Micro 3x22mm Maginfer
I absoulutely love my Magnifer. I was very liminted of the magnifer to purchase because of my rail is only 6 inches with my optic already mounted. It fits perfectly.

I love this 3x red dot magnifier. Currently running mine with the Vortex Crossfire red dot optic and everything lines up perfectly. Can't recommend this magnifier enough especially at the price point.

I was debating between this and the eotech and ultimately went with this due to price and considered the fact it’s a few oz lighter than the eotech was a nice bonus. Glass is very nice for the price. No complaints. Great bargain
