Very small and compact. At first, when i opened the package i was disappointed to see how small it was. I thought there was no way that i would be able to see out to any significant distance. I must admit, i was wrong. I have another monocular, i forget the power and brand, but its stronger than a 10x and i can see the same distance with the Vortex. The clarity is amazing. The compact size is a big plus.
