Great Tripod
Does what it says it does. Easy to work, tightens up for a good precision view, and loosens well enough to make small adjustments quickly. Have a vortex spotter on this and it holds it perfectly.

A really stable tripod.
I wanted to upgrade to a more stable tripod but without sacrificing more length and weight. My current Vortex tripod is very lightweight but a little unstable to shoot off of. This new Vortex tripod is the same length and only a few ounces heavier and doesn’t take up any more room in my pack. A good price for Vortex quality.

Was easy to set up and take down. It was windy the first day. Having the middle hook for a weight to hang a weight was a big help

Stable platform
Purchased as a Vortex spotting scope setup, fairly light weight, can adjust angle and leg length. Additional weight can be hung from the center point to decrease instability from winds.
Pros:
- Adequate max and min height adjustment to fit my 6 foot height.
Cons:
- No horizontal lock.

- Fixed position for long distance glassing.

Excellent Tripod
I really like this tripod. It is a bit heavier and sturdier than I first imagined, which is a good feature as I'll use it for spotting with my rifle on long range shoots from a bench. Nice ARCA head which accommodates my Vortex spotting scope perfectly!
