Great scope for the money!
I was very surprised to see this scope for such a low price. I was surprised again when I received it, very clear glass, sharp image and the controls work as they should. It’s a steal at this price, worth every penny.

REBADGED VORTEX SCOPE
Becoming one of my favorite Vortex scope brands in place of my other vortex scope collection. I currently use it for 6.8 SPC II setup and it seems to be good selection choices that work well together.

Votex OPMOD Diamondback Tactical 4-16x44
Bought the scope for my wife's new Seekins Havak PH3 in Urban Shadow. The color matches great and and she keeps bragging about the clarity of the scope. Very pleased and highly recommend.

Same Diamondback, different color, lower price
Picked up a Vortex Diamondback TAC 6-24x50 a while back and thought about getting the 4-16x44...a couple of years later and the OPMOD deal I just could not pass up.
This is the EXACT same scope as the normal Diamondback TAC but in light grey or FDE. Quality is the same, price is lower for the OPMOD.
In comparison with the 6-24x50:
1. Higher magnification makes for reading the Christmas tree reticle easier, but the 4-16x44mm is not that much worse.
2. Eye relief is finicky for some (with both scope models), makes you have the same cheek weld all the time - something I prefer.
3. Grey color is a bit lighter than I would like, but can't beat the price and I can live with it.

Vortex Opmod
Nice clear glass and reticle easy to utilize. Excellent for my rifle setup as these old eyes don't allow me to shoot much beyond 200-300 yds anymore. Price was far better than anywhere else!

One big problem
I bought this scope at a significant discount. I am sure I know why. Everything is great about this scope except the color. It makes the markings on the dials very hard to see. The gray color is very light and next to the white markings was a mistake. That not totally unusable but probably three and a half stars.
