2nd time's the charm...for the tan limited edition diamondback tactical scope! - Vortex OPMOD Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50mm Rifle Scope, 30mm Tube, First Focal Plane (FFP)

A short while ago I ordered the tan limited edition Diamondback Tactical scope by Vortex FFP 6-24x50mm. I had a problem with the paralax adjustment going out on the scope. First shot, the whole scope went totally fogged out, like instantly flying into a cloud. And had the problem with subsequent shots. Bottom line I sent it back for a replacement. Like I mentioned in that review, I hoped it was a one time issue unique to Vortex, since I have about a dozen Vortex scopes that have all worked and performed great.

I am doing this review on the replacement scope...and all is well. The scope works the way it is supposed to.
