Great product
I purchased this looking for a good optic for my dad. So far he's put over a 1000 round downrange with his AR. It works great! Not an issue so far!

Diamondback 6-24X50 on Savage B22
I had already settled on CCI SubSonic .22 ammo. It's inexpensive, widely available and reasonably consistent. I had mounted Vortex 6-9X35 on the rifle and immediately wanted more power. My eyes required it. I bought FFP not knowing how much better it would be. Zeroed at 50 yards to save ammo. Proved unnecessary. Dialed POA right in to dead on at 50 yards. Moved to 100 yards and POA was 6.5" low. No wind that day and no windage correction needed. Dialed in 26 clicks up (1/4" per click) and HIT THE CENTER OF THE BULL!
Shot at 24" gong at 200 using sub tension lines. Hit the gong 6 out of 10 rounds. The wait to hear the noise was excruciating but sweet.
Why did I wait until I was 75 years old to do this with a .22? Probably didn't think the equipment and I could do it. OPCON scope looks great in grey. Used Wheeler rings with tiny level.

Great Optic
Haven't taken to the range yet but its a nice optic. Glass is clear, parallax adjustment is nice, finish is great. Its a very busy reticle if you're used to just duplex or basic bdc reticle, but will be very useful for longer shots. First focal plane is great with this reticle. The 6x24x50 is pretty bulky so me personally I wouldnt have it on my rifle I hike with but for bench or fixed position its should be perfectly fine. For me its a whole lotta optic for a very reasonable price. I've owned alot of vortex optics and have yet to have a problem with any of them. I would buy again all the features and quality in nicer brands would be 3 or 4 times as much. So far so good and Optics Planet always delivers, their prices cant be beat, good delivery no issues ever.

Great scope for the money
I bought this scope for 2 reasons: 1) it matches the barrel on my 1st gen ruger 204 yote edition and 2) because of TyMan's review. The color is very close and I'm happy with it. Clarity is great and I'm happy with it also. I haven't had the chance to use it on an intruder yet so I guess I'll break in the turrets the old fashioned way. Either way, I'm happy with it.
Ps anybody that's on the fence about vortex should compare the warranty to any other manufacturer. You're not going to beat the vortex warranty.

Great scope
I just got it mounted and shot a few rounds and sighted in at 100yds. So far so good. Easy to use and very clear. I like the fine cross hairs a lot.
