Vortex optics adr-x cantilever mount - Vortex Optics ADR Cantilever Mounts

This scope mount is a re-branded AD-RECON-X manufactured by American Defense Mfg. I mounted my Leupold Mark 4 scope to this mount which used to be mounted to my AR with standard scope rings. The scope mount is aluminum with an anodized finish and the machining and overall construction are excellent. I love the quick detach levers which have a lock that must be pushed in to unlock the levers - this eliminates accidentally unlocking the levers if it snags on gear or clothing. Adjustment for the quick detach rail mount is super easy and doesn't really need tools. I've taken my AR shooting with this scope mount several times and it's held up well. I've also taken scope mount off to clean the rifle and in subsequent outings my scope has retained zero. The scope mount package comes with instructions, a hex tool (for the scope rings) and packet of screw locking stuff called Vibra-tite. It's made in the USA and has a lifetime warranty - although I'm not sure if that's through Vortex or American Defense; either way, from what I understand both companies have excellent customer service reputations.
