Replaced my 15 year old Pentax 16 x 50 with these due to double imaging from prism shift on the older pair. These new binoculars are extremely sharp, lightweight and do the job I need in South Texas for whitetail deer hunting. I recently validated a buck I was watching at 125 yards and could easily distinguish all ten antler points including some smaller G-1s. I am also an avid bird observer/photographer and look forward to using these for that purpose as well.

These Binoculars truly live up to all the reviews that I read b4 buying - really a wonderful binocular.
I put had here after a long an exhausting search for the best price.
They were not in stock when I ordered but the Customer Service was truly amazing with offering me alternative top quality binoculars.
As I wanted the Viper HD, Customer Service kept me informed of the expected delivery date with constant updates.
I received the binoculars on the date promised.

I love all my vortex products but i will never order from opticsplanet.com again, when I ordered them it said 1-3 days to ship it took almost 2 weeks and when i called I was on hold for 20 min so I asked for a call back and I'm still waiting on that and it's been over a month now

Light weight, smaller chassis than I expected. Extremely clear! Vortex! What's not to like? Only thing I would change is the carry case- it could use some more padding to better protect such great glass.

Best binoculars I have ever bought! Great product, very lightweight for the size. Would highly recommend this product. If you're going the long haul I would definitely recommend a tripod with this purchase. Because of the sensitivity of these you need something to help stabalize them to see clearly.

I can't believe how great these Vortex 15x50's are! They are incredibly light, easy to hold, focus, even for small birds quickly moving about. Also, they focus very, very close. They provide great visual quality and lightness, such that I use them more than my 12X 50 Leicas.

Bought the 15x50s about a year ago and took them to Africa last month (7/16). I own a really good pair of 8x42s of another make, but after my trip to the Eastern Cape in 2014 I decided I wanted something with better reach. I am not an optics expert, and would like a pair of Swarovski's to go with my Swaro rifle scope, but they were not in the budget. I was not disappointed with these. After my PH looked through them once, he wanted to keep "borrowing them". I asked him what he thought of their quality and he said "excellent". I didn't have the heart to tell him that I only paid a fraction of the price he paid for his Leica's. These are probably one of the best buy/quality ratio binos in the under $1,000 range, The one down side (or benefit) is that they are very light for 15x binos. I was often hunting rests to keep them steady. Another plus is they are not any bigger than 8x42 Binos in size. Also the twist out eye pieces were very nice.

These are great, originally I was worried about weight, but they are not bad at all. I been looking for a good pair of binoculars that wouldn't break the bank and these are excellent and at a great price.

I purchased these binoculars to view the bay and boats from my balcony. I combined them with Vortex tripod a well. Both are great. I am impressed with the quality for the price. I own both Swarovski and Leica products which are slightly better but cost much more. I returned a pair of Zeiss 15 x 45. The magnification is a little much for hunting without a good rest. The tripod on the deck makes them a joy. I am amazed how small and light they are compared to other binoculars. Excellent purchase for money expended.
