This scope is clear and will provide years of use and abuse. Very rugged, well built piece of hunting gear. Vortex Viper Long Range

Vortex is an amazing scope for the price point. I have since switched all of my scopes, binoculars, and range finder to the vortex viper. The VIP Warranty is easy to use with a quick turn around time (I damaged the binoculars and all it cost to get them repaired was the shipping to the factory)

Vortex Viper HS LR 4x16x44 riflescope

Great scope! Best scope I've ever owned. The old adage to spend as much on a scope as on a rifle I've found to be true. I much rather have a $500 gun and a $500 scope than a $800 gun and a $200 scope. The glass is clear and the tactical turret makes it easy to adjust for long range.

I love this scope, great glass and rugged. my only concern would be the open turret collecting dirt that would cause problems.
Pros: zero stop
Cons: magnification dial a little hard to turn

Mounted the scope on my first home built custom rifle and walked it right into the bull with three shots. Have not had a chance to walk it around the block but all is well with what I have done so far. Seems to be very good quality with nice bright and clear optics that were easily customized to my eye...

Excellent scope

Had this scope out well past legal hunting time, target and cross hairs were still clearly visible.

Tracks well
Pros: Amount of adjustment, 1/2 MOA adj, fine reticule
Cons: It doesn't gut my animals when shot.

Predator Hunter

Mounted the scope on a Savage Model 16 in 204. This is a great scope for the money with very clear optics compined with a great rectile. Zero stop adjustment is easy and the open elevation adjustment makes for quick yardage adjustments. The eye relief does change a small amout when dialing from 4x to 16x. Also the zoom adjustment is a bit stiff when compaired to my Bushnell, but overall this is the best scope I've owned.
Pros: Very Clear optics, thin rectile, zero stop adjustments
Cons: Zoom adjustment ring a bit stiff
