Mark's Review of Vortex Ranger 1300 Laser Rangefinder w/ HCD
I have several Vortex scopes and I love them. That is why I purchased the 1300 range finder. I wanted a finder that I could use with my long range 6.5 creedmoore. The gun can shoot 1000 yards easy, but the best I can get out of the 1300 is 600 yards, and that is under ideal conditions. I have put it to side by side tests with my buddies finders and this one fails every time. As far as I am concerned I just threw $300 down a hole.
