So vortex is telling me this is completely normal for a brand new out of box AMG UH-1 gen 2. I want to get some options from other owners as I believe this is a quality control issue. There are these white scuffs around the housing that look like the coating wasn't uniformly applied and it does not wipe off. Also the adhesive holding the lens in has some seepage that looks bad. I've owned many other vortex optics and none had these issues. Not to mention this optic is made in USA and very expensive so I was expecting high quality. Its also pretty blurry but they said thats normal as well.
