Vortex is the best USA scope company for customer service and warranty that there is. In this day, where value is kicked to the curb, it is difficult for customers to find fair deals. Vortex has redefined the customer service model and restored it to what it used to be. This Razor AMG Holographic Scope is just like the rest of Vortex’s scopes. This scope is simple to use and the quality is excellent. The reticle is sharp. It has a close quarters triangle, and actually, the center dot turns to a chevron depending on how you view it. I never saw anything like it. I haven’t had the opportunity to shoot it yet, but when I do I’m sure it will serve me well. Thanks Vortex!!!

I have used EO-Tech, ACOG and Aimpoint in the past and this is right on par with those other guys. I decided to go with this optic based on some YouTube videos I watched and largerly due to the lifetime warranty and being made in the USA. I like knowing they stand behind their products and it isn't made in China. My brother also picked up an EO-Tech for the same rifle I have and I didn;t wanbt the exacty same setup as his.... plus this one looks pretty cool in my opinion. The reticle is clear and easy to operate. I can not speak to the night vision because I do not use it, I went thermal instead. I personally love the look and feel of this optic and when paiored up with the Vortex 3x magifier, it is all I need for my 300 AAC Blackout. I know this has been out for a few years and that just tells me it is an outstanding optic with a solid reputation. I definitely would recommend this and Optic Planet is the best deal on the internet!

I bought this sight for my IWI Tavor TS12. I'm using a UTG Pro milspec carry handle with a Yankee Hill flip up front sight as a back up sight setup. The AMG UH-1 is built like a tank..much like my EOTec's.BUT...always a but, I have a problem with the position of the lenses in the sight. They seem to me... very exposed to damage by being so close to the edge of the frame of the sight.My EOTec's have a protective cover that offer some protection to the lenses. I do like the quick detach rail mount. I do like the easy battery access. The controls are EASY to manipulate. Unlike my EOTec's...you don't feel like your about to break your fingers trying to hit the adjustment sweet spot. The retical is a bit more refined than the retical on my EOTec's. It does actually seem more crisp to my old eyes. The last BUT I have with this particular sight is the weight. It's a bit heavy for a sight that's perched out on the end of an already almost 13 pound shotgun...that said...being a bullpup..it balances strangely well. I've also used this sight on one of my AR's...it's very much at home there. If I would have to rate this AMG UH-1 over my EOTec's...I would say the lenses are better protected on the EOTec...but the retical is much better in the AMG UH-1.

Great product from Vortex. Options Planet made it even better with the deal they had for this red dot optic. True to color, looks great on my rifle. Packaging was good. No scratches, optic was in perfect condition. Easy to use and mount. Fast delivery. Overall a great experience with Optics Planet. Very happy and satisfied with this product.

Picked up to use with my range toys the quick detach is nice for swapping between guns.the reticle is nice and crisp and the glass is crystal clear.

This is one great piece of kit, the reticle is nice and bright and can even be turned up with very minimal ghosting. People like to complain about the tint but unless you are specifically looking for it, it is not noticeable. Thrown on a 300BLK SBR and has held zero through about 500 rounds

I'm currently using this with my keltec r50 and it's great, looks awesome and it's very accurate.

I’m not sure if I would buy any other holographic red dot other than this one. Its large window and crystal clear glass gives you a very wide angle of view with amazing eye relief. Super impressive target acquisition as well. The reticle brightness settings make it bright enough to easily be seen in the middle of desert with the sun beaming in your face. I never had to cut it up past the 6th-8th brightness setting out of 12 total. Not to mention it’s ruggedness and toughness being able to withstand even the harshest conditions while still holding zero. It took me less than a full magazine to zero. Highly recommend
