I bought this scope made in Japan like new at an unbelivable low price . Clear image easy to focus.I can’t imagine a better scope.It a bit Heavy , with a manfrotto tripod,it is steady viewing and the warranty no question whatever happenned , Very impressed

Great spotting scope . Clear as can be. Found this same scope on line cheaper than optic planet and they sold the spotting scope for the competitors price along with the tripod. This spotting scope is as better than any other high end spotting scopes ,that I have owned in the past

With this item being discontinued, the price is amazing for the quality and the warranty. If there's any left I recommend buying one. My understanding is that they used the same glass in the new style.

Having used many European spotting scopes over the years I was not disappointed with this one at the cost OPTICSPLANET was selling it at.
Light weight, great warranty, CLEAR optics which easily let me see bullet holes from my rifles at 500yds.
It will be used for hunting this coming season but so far for range, and general scoping its worth every penny.

I have one of these scopes (HD Razor 20-60 X 85) and returned it to VORTEX because the eyepiece kept falling right out of the scope's body. They "fixed it" and sent it back. I then brought it to my next match and another guy was spotting with it and he soon asked me if the eyepiece was supposed to just come loose like it was doing. I looked at it and put it away...took it home and examined it closely to see what the deal was and found that the bayonet mount piece that is the eyepiece receptacle inside the spotting scope's body was not secured by anything more than a wimpy little rubber O ring....meaning that once you mounted the eyepiece following the directions, it would just fall right back out again..Hmmm....so I called VORTEX and they are sending me another whole new scope. I guess I'll find out if that happens all over again, but I WAS NOT TOO HAPPY to have spent that amount of money on an unreliable piece of #$%^& that just falls apart. The customer service seems to be really good except for that they didn't even come close to fixing the problem the first try around!

I like when a manufacturer actauly builds a product that they expect you to only have to buy one. instead of cheaping out on things so you have to get another down the road. Vortex built this spotting scope to last forever and then backs it up with an amazing warranty. It came with its own case, cleaning cloth, and lense caps. It is a ckear view all the way through from 20x to 60x and easy to focus. Im very satisfied with this scope

I read many reviews and watched many YouTube videos comparing this scope to others. And I decided to buy this scope is based on best price; great performance, and NO QUESTION ASKED life time warranty from VORTEX. Scope arrived on time, and it performance flawless out of the box! Strongly recommend.

I first purchased the 20-60x80 Vortex Viper Spotting Scope. I returned it because my $140 Carson Everglade Scope was just about as sharp. With this Razor, I can see chairs on a ski lift more than 45 straight line miles away. Nice scope. Eye relief isn't that great at 60 power wearing eyeglasses but I think this is a common issue with others as well.

Haven't used for hunting yet however turkey scouting large areas soon commences. Playing with it at home indicates impressive clarity, ease of use and fine focusing. I'm pumped. Main reazon for my purchase was long range shooting at range. Due Michigan winter, ranges here only open weekends. Warm weather, all week. Im retired, no sense in fighting the crowds. Scope should be perfect for that application.

After long hours searching for the right scope for the right price nothing compares to the Razor HD spotter.. clear line of view easily at 500yds... able to see my 308 and 223 rounds at 400-500 yds no problem.. for a made in china product i was really impressed.. cant bet the lifetime warranty, which is nice cause i never have to worry about it again..
