I was set to purchase a NightForce scope but took a chance on Vortex because of all the great comments on the various forums. I'm glad I bought this scope! The small detail of putting a fiber optic on the turret and zoom knob may not seem special to some but it is nice to look up from behind the scope and know where you are. The rubberized zoom ring is a nice touch too. Optics=outstanding of course. Solidly built! You can feel the quality in the turrets as you dial them; no slack and good positive clicks. First high end optic purchase

This was my first high end optic purchase. I was sold on getting the Nightforce NXS 5.5-22X50, but after looking through thenRazor HD, I quickly changed my mind. I got lucky andmthendealer had 1 left in stock.
I have it on my .338 Lapua and so far it's amazing. I've been missing out for years. I'm in the process of selling my Nikon Monarch. I also purchased the Viper PST 1-4X24 for my AR-15 that I'm waiting on.
Pros: Glass,detail, cost
Cons: None
